Rare 1950

1950's barbershop southern rose butch wax sign this is a great sign that shows the famous "butch wax eyeglass shelf" this sign is an authentic reproduction of a rare barbershop customer eyeglass shelf that measures 8 1/2" by 11". it is made of ivory cardstock and it was propped up to display or hang just next to the mirror to put your glasses on during your haircut so you don't forget them!!. this was an ad supplied by a southern rose salesman my dad’s legacy i have included photos to view of my father’s barbershop in buffalo n.y. where this was to be sold or used. my father always bought 3 of everything just in case- 1 used 2 stored away new- very lucky for me now. he was a barber for over 65 years in the same location so it’s nice to pass on his passion! the photos are a bit blurred as they were taken off a tv special on my dad. this is a rare find to most avid barber collectibles. powered by the free listing tool. list your items fast and easy and manage your active items. i will always combine shipping costs for multiple purchases to save you as much money as possible. just purchase the item but do not pay until i resend a corrected invoice.
